9-30-09 Wednesday (Handicap Parking)

We spent the night at Jim’s Grandmother’s for a couple of reasons.  1- The fiberglass chemical fumes 2- The refrigerator/freezer had been defrosted and requires a lot of time to get back to operating temperatures, which means no cold foods for several hours.

This morning we gathered up our crap, dropped the dog back at the RV and then went to pickup the kitties.  On our way home, a CitiGroup Dallas area recruiter called Jim.  She asked some mini interview questions and then set up a phone interview with potential supervisors for tomorrow.

This evening the temperature dropped to the mid 70’s.  It just kind of hit me while we were walking Dasher.  A cool wind blew.  It was almost chilly.  It was nice!

So, we went to Walmart.  There we were.  There it was.

An abandoned wheel chair in the parking lot.  We parked right in front of it.  It’s got a foot rest missing.  I stared at it for a few moments.  I couldn’t help but wonder about it.  Was someone miraculously healed by some Walmart pharmacy medication so they ditched the chair?  Many times shoppers leave behind the big boxes their purchases came in.  Sometimes you may find a drink cup, maybe a fast food bag… but this?  I didn’t touch it.  I feared it may have had an alarm.  Perhaps it is merely parked?  Hmmmm, we’re not in the handicap spot.  An hour later, the chair was still there.

  1. Screw the wheelchair... you made DASHER stay in the fiberglass fumed RV while you stayed at Grandma's?!

    Oh the inhumanity.

  2. Dear Alix, if you're going to read my blog than READ my blog. 2nd paragraph clearly states:

This morning we gathered up our crap, dropped the dog back at the RV and...

Poor thing. You just need a good cup of coffee. You know, the Chee Latte you get at Starbucks that you blogged about?

Now, go play a friendly game of "hide and go ^$ck yourself."

  3. Hehehehehe! My you're a sensitive one. I could hardly leave that adorable comment if I admitted to knowing Dasher was with you at Granny's.

But still, you took him back to the fumy RV. Poor puppy.
