Jim had his phone interview today. He thinks it went well enough to warrant another interview. The position is for the Irving, TX operation center location. He’s excited about the position. Me? Well, I’m excited too. We both teeter on scared, sad, and excited. It’s an emotional rollercoaster, I assure you. There doesn’t seem to be a perfect mix of career and location out there. Ultimately I think the job is more important than the location. Who wants to live in paradise, but hate their job that they spend 10 hours a day doing? Well, that’s just my opinion and one that I keep reminding ourselves about. I have to play all of this as if it were me even though it’s more about Jim. Isn’t that what couples do? Afterall, if he’s miserable with a big part of his weekly routine, wouldn’t that rub off on me?
I went to the doctors with my mom and then a late lunch. This place imports their Philly cheesesteak ingredients from Philadelphia. Philly Junction is yummy.
