6-29-10 Tuesday (Last Minute Monuments)

Vacation is over!  Back to Charlotte we go.  We got up, broke down the RV and hit the road.  A 7 hour drive was upon us.  It went well, which is a good thing.  I worked on 3 days worth of blog entries while Jim drove.

On the way out of town I wasn’t expecting to see the Washington Monument anymore.  There it was.

We got home while still having some daylight.  It was probably about 7pm or later.  We parked the RV in the driveway of the house next door (with permission from a neighbor who is looking after this foreclosure).  We emptied it of all foods and clothing.  What ever we left behind, I’ll grab tomorrow.  Tomorrow night we’ll bring it to the storage facility.

We went through so many states today.  How tiring!

DIH - Dasher Yawns We start the day with a substandard breakfast.  We toured a money making factory.  Literally.  A fowl street sign is spotted and photographed.  Dinner with friends.  Check it out here.

  1. Poor weary traveler. Good to have you and Jeem home safe. Glad you had a great time.

Larry and I were buying cards today and I looked for one that said "Congratulations on getting your marriage license, but skipping the wedding." It was $45.36. I bought it anyway.

It's in the mail with a platinum toilet seat that I picked up at Horchow for you guys. Hope you enjoy it. :)

  2. Next time, just end the cash in a plain white envelope. I like to pick my own toilet seat - I'm funny like that.
