We spent a lot of time at the RV today. 2 big projects. Hang the bedroom mini-blinds and install new A/C intake vents.
The first window blind was a little annoying to hang until we got the groove. The measuring, leveling, pencil marking and all that jazz was cumbersome. Many times we took extra steps that weren’t even needed.
Above: I couldn’t get the wand on. Jim commented, “you have to be smarter than the wand.” I stepped aside and let him do it. He broke the wand.
Above: Remember, cords are choking hazards. Shorten them as needed.
The RV A/C intakes are old and partially broken. Jim called Fleetwood to see about getting new ones. Of course they’re discontinued. He decided that they’re a pain in the ass to deal with anyways so he installed home type intake vents that will accept the disposable standard sized filters.
We removed the cushions and side panels from the dinette so we can work on recovering them. I installed the tire covers to protect the tires from the UV rays.
That’s about it.
 We moved to a different RV park. We broke the internet. Some house hunting. A corned beef mess. Read about it here. |
I think you should totally do a vlog thing where Jim is the RV Fix It guy and he can talk about the repairs and you can add colorful commentary.

And then you went out to eat. Right? Of course you did - that was a lot of work!
