Today was supposed to be a high packed errand day. We didn’t end up doing as much as we should have.
Yesterday we dropped off the Jeep to have squeaking brakes looked at. Monro had done the brakes several months ago. For some reason, be it high pitched, I can’t hear the brakes squeal. Jim can. We picked up the Jeep, and we went our separate ways. Me? I went food shopping while Jim ran a few errands including a haircut.
Fast forward to dinner time. We tried another restaurant that was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. This time – South 21 Drive-in. Dive. The place has seen better days. Jim and I ordered the Jumbo Cheeseburger. It was 2 thin burger patties that were borderline burned. The flavor ended up being good but not good enough to drive 20 something minutes to get there AND eat in the car on my lap.
We then ventured to Garden Ridge. The huge Garden Ridge. Jim hasn’t been there yet. We bought a pet bed (for the RV), and lots of fabric remnants for use in recovering the dinette cushions again.
 I share my fatness with you. I admit to buying stretchy old people shorts. I discover Live Writer to blog with which still utilizes Google Blogger. I discover inexpensive cholesterol testing. We meet up with Gregg for dinner. We strolled an Art Walk. So much going on. Check it out here. |

I'm disappointed that the experiences haven't been so great!
Without trying to youtube the episode, I'm not sure what Guy ate. I'd imagine it was the burgers since that's what they're famous for.
