The portion of the canyon that we saw today, has no parking at each view point. We had to use a bus system. It felt like we were on the bus 90% of the time and seeing the canyon 10% of the time. The canyon didn't wow me as much. I'm not sure if it's because I wasn't feeling 100% or because I'm jaded?
4-19-09 Sunday (Voiceless)
I felt much better than yesterday BUT I feel sore and tired. I've somewhat lost my voice (Jim must have been wishing last night). Ann & Morgan are also staying here in the Grand Canyon National Park. Once they check in, they'll be a few blocks away from us! Pretty cool. They met us here at the coach and then we went to eat at the Canyon Cafe. I didn't have much of an appetite but did manage to eat a prefabbed foil wrapped burger. What an icky excuse for a cafeteria.

Gorgeous photos as usual Garret. Larry and I toured the Grand Canyon by helicopter and got into some of the crevices super scary tight. What rotar blades?
