I forgot to mention a problem we spotted as we were leaving New Orleans. Jim spotted some water leaking from under the coach close to wear the washer/dryer is located. We temporarily dismissed the pending disaster until we got to Unadilla.
With today being our first full day here, it was time for some projects. Jim pulled the washer out, took off the panels, turned it on, and we watched water spray out of a hose. Luckily there was a little extra hose length so that he could cut the hose and reinstall it.
Next, the cable on the toilet pedal kept getting looser and eventually wouldn’t open anymore. The cable retainer nut kept slipping off. Jim repaired that.
We haven’t installed the screen room for a really, really, oh and really long time. They have a lot of “grass gnats” here. About 10 or so will try enter your ear or hang out by your ankles. Sitting around here without a screen room is terrible. I spray some Skin So Soft or sometimes insect repellant to get these things away from me. Back to the screen room. It took a long time to get it installed. We had to do some things over because we couldn’t remember which way something needed to be until it was already installed.
After various projects, we went swimming. Curtis joined us'; eventually his other half, Doug, joined us. Later Al came home from work and the 5 of us went to dinner and then some drinking and swimming. Steve of Steve and Rich came for the weekend. We met them last year as well. Rich will be here tomorrow.

Dear God, you and your arrows.
ReplyDeleteWhat about us?
ReplyDeleteLOL, not those arrows. Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteI want to know how to do those arrows!
ReplyDeleteJoanie: I have to take the photo into another program such as Printshop and then add the arrow.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a great picture of Doug and Curtis.
