9-16-09 Wednesday (Walmart Clothing)

Here I am!  Here I am!  Miss me?  Pretend.  Miss me?  If you did, it’s going to be a disappointing post.  Oddly, I have nothing to report.  We work out, we eat salads.  I do laundry.  We surf the Internet.  I play video games.  It’s all been a bore. 

Jim has been working hard on getting back into CitiGroup.  With his ex-bosses help, he’s been able to make some contacts in Dallas.  Dallas has the best growth potential.  It’s a little scary, not knowing where we’ll end up.  The bummer part is some openings have popped up in some really cool places (Vegas, Palm Springs, etc) but we’re a little scared of them.  They’re branch level positions and not working within corporate as Jim would prefer.

I want to thank all who have sent me a link to People Of Walmart.  Basically, it’s a website where photos of strange Walmart shoppers are uploaded.  Sometimes it’s just cars spotted in their parking lot.  It’s funny.  Take a look.  For those of you with Blogger Dashboard, “follow” the site from within and you won’t miss a post.  Of course my fear is that I’ll end up in a photo on their website.  I better be careful with what I’m wearing.  So much for my big fluffy pink bunny slippers…

Now we’re probably in trouble.  Jim hooked up the cable yesterday.  I was pleased that TIVO recognized this cable system.  The RV park is called Indian Creek and it actually had Indian Creek Cable listed.  Basically it’s like a hotel/motels cable that has a channel with RV park information.  This means we can record stuff maybe catch up on some of the shows we used to watch.  Between Netflix and TIVO we’ll get there.  I hope we don’t become couch potatoes.

Anyone know what kind of flowers these are?  I spotted it while walking Dasher.
