6-14-09 Sunday (This Title Left Blank Intentionally)

We slept in late again.Oh well.  Maybe it was because it was cloudy and rained on and off all day.

We managed to resist the temptation of Whataburger for lunch and instead had nice healthy sandwiches.

We then enjoyed a dip in the hot tub.

After a shower, we went out in search of a car wash.  We think the rear differential is leaking and we needed to clean it off to watch where the leak is coming from.

Back to the RV, to start dinner.  Pork tenderloin.  Yum.

Then to a $2.00 movie to see Wolverine.  Yep, $2.00 each.  Of course 2 large drinks, and popcorn was $13.00.  The movie was good.

The end.

Thank you.

  1. Sounds like a fun Sunday. Congrats on the healthy sandwich choice.

When I worked for IBM, our corporate manuals were large, heavy and cumbersome - mostly because many of the pages were one sided. They always had "This page intentionally left blank" printed on the opposite side, which I found hilarious. Then someone got the bright idea to print that on the back side of IBM t-shirts. I was one of the dummies that bought one in every color. I thought I was so cool. Anyway, your title reminded me of that. The end. Thank you.

  2. I think you needed a restful, laid back Sunday after all of your adventures! And Alix, you and I giggled at the same things at work - I always thought the comment about the blank page was funny! I'm sure somewhere along the line a hapless worker missed a page, then had to come up with that disclaimer to cover her ass in future.

Guys - you are having a very enviable trip!!!

  5. I have an off-topic question for you that I've been wondering about since I discovered your blog. How do other RVers react to meeting you and your significant other?

  6. Good question Tonya. Either the people are oblivious to our sexuality OR they don't care. We've not had anyone act distant or hateful in anyway. We've met many people during sightseeing or at the parks and hand out our calling card. We usually tell them a shortened version of "WE had the house on the market, Jim lost his job and 4 day later I lost mine so WE decided to still sell it. WE bought an RV and decided to tour around..."

If that doesn't clue them in then they deserve stupidity.

  7. @Liz: No life switching! Besides, you have kids!

@Alix & Mom L: People decorate doors on cruise ships so the next cruise we're on, I was going to have calling card magnets made and leave them on blank doors.

@Joanie M: I'm sure most of my days are better than a lot of people's.
