8-4-08 Monday (Camp out at Camping World)

I don't even know what to say. The day was planned out so well but went so wrong. We had a 2PM appointment with Camping World to have the steering stabilizer installed on the RV. We had to pack up camp and get everything ready to move. (Photos included of what the RV looks like with the slide in)

We were late. We hit rain and traffic coming here, they said it was no problem. We were told it would take about an hour so we were prepared to hang out. The cats were closed off in the bedroom and the dog was leashed with us. When we arrived we smelled something burning from the RV but couldn't find it. Apparently the right front caliper seized, the rotor scored and blue (overheated), and even the tire valve stem cap was melted. Camping World doesn't do this kind of work but referred us to someone else. We had the stabilizer installed as planned. The manager said we could stay here the night since it shouldn't be driven much. He supplied us with water hookup and power. Dave came and picked me up (THANKS AGAIN DAVE) and took me to the RV park to retrieve the Cherokee and the water hose.

So here we are, camped out in the Camping World parking lot whilst I bake chicken in the oven.

The pets enjoyed it with the drapes opened:
